This website is run by the Office of Resources & Alumni Affairs (DORA), 2nd Floor, E-learning Center, NCC Building, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee, Uttarakhand 247667.

For any question about this policy or your data, write to dora.office@iitr.ac.in.

We only collect what you choose to send us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message.
• Newsletter sign-up: your email address.
• Technical request data: like any web server, the server hosting this site records details such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to keep the site secure and working.

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load content from third-party services. Fonts and images are served from this website itself.

If that changes — for example, if we embed videos — we will update this policy first.

We use your details to reply to your message, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Form submissions are forwarded to the DORA office, which passes a message to the right colleague at IIT Roorkee when needed. We share personal data outside the institute only when the law requires it.

Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of our correspondence. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or unsubscribe from the newsletter, at any time. Write to dora.office@iitr.ac.in and we will act on your request.
